THE RAMP STANDS IT

21.08.2015
Although you are receiving this newsletter from Jordan, the things are moving. At the moment the whole interior is being made at carpenter's and will be mounted as soon as I return to Slovenia.

Through the past weeks we moved the present starter batteries to the new location and fitted a twin set of TAB batteries, boasting a total of 450 Ah, which will supply the complete rear cabin appliances. The loading ramp for motorbikes has been successfully tested. I managed to park the bike in the first attempt without experiencing any difficulties whatsoever. The ramp itself, a masterpiece of Mr. Robert Milič who welded the whole rear cabin and designed the loading ramp/garage door, proved to be extremely robust, while precisely and easily manipulated.

This week Innovatif company finally focused on my new www.desertsoul.com web page that has been really crying for redisigning since some time ago. The next newsletter might already be issued through it, together with loads of new and broader contents.

The jobs we have to do in the near future include: cutting apertures for roof-windows, painting the whole rear cabin, completing electrical and water appliances, BASF-manufactured Styrodur insulation will finally be glued to the walls, bed and bench mattresses will be custom-made, and then the truck travels to Koper where it will be checked and serviced, if necessary, at Trgotehna Iveco service. The additional 300-litre fuel tank will also be added to the present 200-litre reservoir at their workshop.

You'll read from me again this very same month. Till then, enjoy it and have fun
