The rent at first looks sky-high, an incredible 6.000.000 lira per day (!), but when we recalculate it into modest 3,45 EUR (it was still 3,52 EUR on Friday, though, as the inflation here is pretty high), my living on a parking, close to a taxi stop becomes silly cheap.

It's a special day today, for I have finnally tracked down the malicious hole in my bed that didn't let me sleep in peace since I left my homeland. I found it at 4:05 AM, when all the air escaped from the bed and I started feeling back-seat edges and fuel cannister handle in my hips and back for the second time in the night. The instant glue was in my hands at once and in less than a minute the annoyance was over! Hoorah! Nights, marked with constant wake-ups and air-bed pumping are over. Well, at least until the next hole appears!

I was planning to leave the Constantinople today, but I just couldn't do it. It's simply too attractive and seducing. When you're hunting good photos downtown it's just impossible to turn the back and go. But tomorrow is a new day and Asia is waiting, as it is Suriya... But "she" will have to wait another week, as Türkiye is so beautiful. My dear friend Ksenija, she's also far from home, says I shouldn't be running, as I still have a lot of time. And her advices have always been very good. I would like to express my gratitude for her always supporting my sometimes crazy ideas. I'm also grateful for her frequent criticism that is always constructive. Thank you, Ksenija!

Downbelow you can appreciate a few photos from the last two days' wandering around. Hopefully you'll enjoy them.
