The team is excellent, the car is gorgeous! During the last week we've been touring Libyan desert and made a lot of photo and video material at the Ubari lakes, in the Akakus area and Valley Matkhandouch.
Amer, Omar, Uroš, Tomaž and I made quite some working kilometres crossing good and bad terrain, while making over 4.000 photos and more than 90 minutes of video shots. Team work was at its best, on a winding road in Tunisia Uroš even drove a truck for the first time and found out the importance of correct braking, for later driving the truck safely across a stony surface to the Matkhandoush valley in southern Libya. In Amer's Toyota, Tomaž was having full hands of work with the vhf radio station, one video and two still cameras. Amer and Omar took their positions at the Webasto diesel stove every night to prepare us delicious dinners.
Since we're tight on time (I'm writing this on February 15th at 10:10 in Sabha, tomorrow meetings are waiting us in Tripoli) I'll be finishing now, but in the following days you can still expect some news with a nice desert story and of course... images!
